The late 60s and 70s were a period in automotive history when the thirst for horsepower was great and the legendary "Muscle Cars" were all the rage. Each marque seemed to rev up the ante, but ahead of the pack was Chrysler with its Hemi engine. The 1970 HemiCuda had a huge Shaker scoop underneath which sat a power-plant which few equals. The 426 Hemi had twin Carter AFB four-barrel carburetors and produced a roaring 425 horsepower! There was no doubt that the 70 HemiCuda was designed to get from one point to another in as fast a time as possible. And during the heyday of Muscle Cars, few did it quicker than the legendary 'Cuda. In addition, in 1970 Plymouth built only fourteen convertible 'Cudas with the Hemi engine - making it a collector's dream-come-true.
